Schedules and alerts
Clickwalker can run your site checks and flows on its own and tell you when something breaks. Passing runs stay quiet.
Schedules
Each flow has its own schedule, set when you edit it: only when you run it, every 6 hours, every 12 hours, or once a day. The site check has one too, in the site's Settings tab. The first scheduled run starts a minute or two after you turn it on.
Untick Active on a flow to pause its schedule without deleting it. You can have up to 10 scheduled flows during the beta.
Slack
- In Slack, open Apps, find Incoming Webhooks and choose Add to Slack.
- Pick the channel for alerts and copy the webhook URL. It starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/. - In Clickwalker, open the site's Settings tab and paste it into Slack alerts.
Clickwalker posts when a flow on that site fails, and when a scheduled site check finds a critical issue that the previous check didn't have. Each message has a link to the report.
Email alerts go to your account's address for scheduled runs that fail. Turn them off under Account.
What counts as a failure
- Flow tests fail when a step can't be done or a check doesn't pass.
- Site checks report Issues found when there's at least one critical finding, such as an error status, a broken link on your own site, or a certificate about to expire. You're alerted when a scheduled check moves into that state, not on every run while it stays there.
Stuck? Email hello@clickwalker.com with the flow you're writing and we'll help.
